Cherryhill Fire Holds Recognition Banquet |

The Cherryhill Township Fire Company gathered January 11 for their annual recognition banquet to celebrate the various contributions and accomplishments of their company and members over the past year. The banquet began with a remembrance of members who passed in 2024 and all other previous members who have gone before that served the Cherryhill Township Fire Company since the inception of the company in 1951. Following the remembrance, Pastor Fred Catchpoole offered the blessing and dinner was provided by Jess Rodkey Catering. Following dinner the following awards were presented to Cherryhill Fire Company members Captain Robert Zack Jr, 5-Year Service Award. Firefighter Emily Miller, Most Hours of Training Award -170.5 hours. Captain Vinny Mutz, Firefighter Bill Cochran and Firefighter Isaac Foreback each recognized for over 100 hours of training in 2024. Social Members Becky Zemlock, Deb Cover and Connie Ringler earned the Community Service Award for their planning, and execution of our community engagement initiatives focused on the children of our community including the Easter Egg Hunt, Trunk or Treat and Breakfast with Santa. The program concluded with a year in review video produced by Paige Smith. The Cherryhill Township Fire Company appreciates the contributions of all our members to help the company fulfill its mission to protect life, property and the environment in our community. In addition, we appreciate the overwhelming support we receive from the Cherryhill Township community as it is the critical ingredient to our continued success. |
